Brand re-fresh for The Colab, a creative hub offering networking, mentoring and job opportunities to self-starters with collaborative mentality.

Boasting members with backgrounds at media’s big boys such as BBC and Freemantle, The Colab plan to give creatives, 18+ and of any level, the opportunity to connect, collaborate and create.
ART DIRECTION
The Colab branding evokes a clean, modern, and minimalistic approach with a youthful twist. The color palette emphasizes bold contrasts such as deep black and orange hues, offering a dynamic and confident presence across the collateral. The logotype is derived from letterpress methods and is playful but direct, giving a sense of creativity and collaboration. It’s expressive yet professional, symbolising a mix of energy and trust.
The visual elements complement this, professional imagery of equipment (such as filming setups), and candid shots of community interactions that showcase the personal and collaborative aspect of The Colab's identity. This mix of organic, authentic photography alongside clean graphic layouts adds to the balance between creativity and professionalism. In line with this, the art direction is approachable but carries an element of structure, perfect for an initiative blending creative projects with community engagement.
